NAHANT
Accidents
A report of a motor vehicle crash at 3:43 a.m. Saturday at the Nahant Rotary. State and Lynn Police were already on the scene.
Complaints
Police received a call at 6:13 p.m. Sunday from a person who reported several cars driving outbound with excessive speed on Nahant Road.
A man called the station at 7:54 p.m. Sunday to report he was approached in the area of Nahant Road by a white man with short black hair and a thick beard, who was driving a metallic-colored minivan with no plate number and asked him if he wanted a ride to Lynn. The caller said he declined the ride and left.
A person called the station at 2:15 p.m. Monday to report two men were on hydroplane boards chasing birds in the water in the area of Sea Breeze Lane. The caller wanted to know what the law was around harassing wildlife. The party was advised accordingly.
Police received a report at 2:55 p.m. Monday of downed wires on Castle Road.

Overdose
A report of an overdose at 1:23 p.m. Monday at Extended Stay America at 200 Jubilee Drive. One person was taken to Salem Hospital.
Theft
A cellphone was reported stolen at 7:28 p.m. Monday at Stop & Shop at 19 Howley St.
SWAMPSCOTT
Suspicious activity
At 10:42 a.m. Monday, a caller reported a suspicious man wearing a black hoodie and backpack in the cemetery on Capen Road.
At 6:09 p.m. Monday, a caller reported seeing a possibly intoxicated woman pushed into a vehicle at the Alltown convenience store on Paradise Road before driving up Salem Street. Police determined that the driver was helping the woman.
At 11:11 p.m. Monday, a resident of Shepard Avenue called to report that they heard yelling outside and someone had rung their doorbell, and they were unsure if the person was still outside.
Theft
At 6:59 p.m. Monday, a person came to the station to report a past theft at the Beach Club on Shepard Avenue.
