Complaints
A report of suspicious activity at 8:11 a.m. Wednesday at Ocean Avenue and Sargent Road. A caller reported a man who was walking slowly appeared to be high, saying that the man “doesn’t belong here” because he was disheveled and his pants were down to his butt.
Suspicious activity was reported at 4:38 p.m. Wednesday on Bessom Street. A caller reported a man described as a “strange character” and “comically suspicious” had been circling the area in the same pattern for about half an hour. She said the man’s boxers were hanging out “like gangsters wore in the ’90s” and that he was “not with it.” A 24-year-old Rockport man was arrested (see arrests).

A larceny was reported at 5:33 p.m. Wednesday at 48 Harris St. A caller reported the recipient blocked him on social media after he had venmoed the person $600 for an exhaust.
A report of a larceny at 9:09 p.m. Wednesday at 56 Veterans Memorial Drive. A caller reported the keys to his medication box were stolen. The person called back to say he found the keys.

Animals
A caller from Eureka Avenue filed a report at 11:47 a.m. Wednesday about a loose dog that had injured them the day before.
Complaints
A caller from Puritan Road reported at 8:34 a.m. Wednesday that construction and landscaping trucks working at the house next door had blocked her driveway and damaged her yard.
A report at 9:15 a.m. of a vehicle with a possible flat tire parked in a lot on Humphrey Street for a few days. The caller wanted police to check to see if it was abandoned.
At 12:48 p.m. Wednesday, a resident of Burpee Road called to report that their downstairs neighbor was banging on the ceiling.
At 4:14 p.m. Wednesday, a resident of Blaney Street called to report that another vehicle was blocking their driveway and preventing them from getting out. They reported that this was a frequent issue with this particular vehicle.
A caller from Humphrey Street at 4:56 p.m. Wednesday reported that he had suspicious search engine activity.
At 7:35 p.m. Wednesday, a caller from Salem Street reported loud motorcycles going up and down the street. The motorcycles were gone when police arrived.
At 8:34 p.m. Wednesday, a caller from Paradise Road reported yelling coming from a nearby apartment, saying she had called before. The yelling was coming from a father and son watching soccer.
At 6:47 a.m. Thursday, a caller reported that music was playing loudly from Burke’s Tumbling Academy and waking his family up.
Medical
A report at 2:25 a.m. Wednesday of a man passed out on the sidewalk near Stop & Shop on Paradise Road. The man refused medical assistance.
