Coronavirus cases slowed in several North Shore communities, including Lynn and Revere, on Tuesday.
In Lynn, 18 new cases were reported to bring the city’s caseload to 17,317. Of that total, 252 cases are active, 212 people have died, and 16,853 have recovered from the virus, according to city data.
Ten new cases were reported in Revere, which now has 10,709 cases and 161 deaths, the city website said.
In Salem, six new cases were reported to bring the city’s total numbers to 4,624 cases and 80 deaths, the city reported.
An additional case was reported in Lynnfield (1,186 cases, 29 deaths), no change was reported in Nahant (248 cases, eight deaths), and numbers were not updated in Marblehead, Peabody, Saugus or Swampscott.
Peabody had 7,112 cases and 316 deaths as of Monday, Marblehead had 1,306 cases and 31 deaths as of last Friday, Saugus had 4,089 cases and 71 deaths as of last Thursday, and Swampscott (1,126 cases, 19 deaths) has not updated its numbers since Tuesday, April 20.
