New coronavirus cases were reported Monday in Lynn, Lynnfield, Peabody, Revere and Salem.
In Lynn, 23 new cases were reported to bring the city’s caseload to 17,299. Of that total, 274 cases are active, 212 people have died, and 16,813 have recovered from the virus, according to city data.
Peabody has reported 32 new cases since last Friday to bring the city’s caseload to 7,112. Of that total, 316 people have died and 6,388 have recovered, according to the health department.
In Salem (4,618 cases, 80 deaths), 22 new cases were reported, two new cases were reported in Lynnfield (1,185 cases, 29 deaths), four new cases were reported in Revere (10,699 cases, 161 deaths) and Nahant (248 cases, eight deaths) reported no change in its numbers.
Marblehead had 1,306 cases and 31 deaths as of last Friday, Saugus had 4,089 cases and 71 deaths as of last Thursday, and Swampscott (1,126 cases, 19 deaths) has not updated its numbers since last Tuesday.
