Ruben Sanchez, 56, of 4 Kingsley Terrace, was arrested and charged with parole/probation violation and on a warrant for carrying a firearm without a license at 4:06 p.m. Wednesday.

Complaints
A report of suspicious activity at 8:37 a.m. Wednesday on Dean Road. A caller reported the front door to her neighbor’s home was open on Tuesday, and noticed that it was open again on Wednesday. Police reported the resident was sanding and refinishing the stairs. He was home when police arrived and said he was fine.
A caller reported a 2- to 3-year-old child was in the playground with only one shoe on. There were reportedly no adults around and the caller said she would stay with the child until police arrived. Police reported the child was returned to their guardian.
Suspicious activity was reported at 11:26 p.m. Wednesday on Mount Vernon Street. A caller reported there was a suspicious person in the neighborhood who was standing in front of a house and talking to himself. The caller thought the man, who appeared to be in his 20s, was intoxicated or high. The man was picked up in a car prior to police arrival.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday at 7-Eleven at 79 Lowell St.; at 2:16 p.m. Wednesday at Starbucks at 240 Andover St.; at 4:47 p;.m. Wednesday at 5 Washington St.
A motor vehicle crash was reported at 1:56 p.m. Wednesday at Dunkin’ Donuts at 3 Central St. One person was taken to Lahey Clinic and Bianca Xavier, 26, was summoned for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
A report of a motor vehicle crash at 3:13 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson Square Citgo at 2 Andover St. Miguel Romero, 26, of 68B Sagamore St., Lynn, was summoned for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of property damage.
One person was taken to Salem Hospital after a motor vehicle crash was reported at 4:01 p.m. Wednesday at 378 Lynnfield St. and 0 Bartholomew St.
Breaking and Entering
A report of a breaking and entering at 12:31 p.m. Wednesday at 16 Paleologos St. A caller reported she heard a noise, discovered that her roommate’s bedroom was a mess, and thought someone may have broken in. Police did not observe any forced entry.
Complaints
A report of an unwanted guest at 12:01 p.m. Wednesday at Honey Dew Donuts at 130 Newbury St. An employee reported a customer was unhappy with her sandwich and threw an item at the drive-up window. Police reported the woman was given a refund and sent on her way.
A report of a disturbance at 1:03 p.m. Wednesday at 37 Castle Circle. A mother reported her son was very drunk and under the influence. Narcan was administered and the man was taken to Salem Hospital.
A caller reported he has video and still shots of a neighbor’s dog in his yard, walking down the street, and defecating in another neighbor’s yard at 12 Blaney Ave. The complaint was made at 1:29 p.m. Wednesday.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday at 3703 Woodbridge Road. A caller reported someone scratched his vehicle with a ladder. Police reported a construction company had been doing some work on the building and agreed to pay $350 to fix the damage.

Accidents
Police received a report at 12:48 p.m. Wednesday of a motor vehicle crash with non-fatal injuries on Route 1 North; at 5:31 p.m. Wednesday on Essex Street.
Police received a report at 3:07 p.m. Wednesday of a motor vehicle crash on Lily Pond Avenue.
