A motor vehicle crash was reported at 5:34 p.m. Tuesday at 4 Broad St. One of the drivers was cited for failure to yield, failure to use care, and failure to obey street signs after a two-car crash.
A report of a motor vehicle crash at 9:54 p.m. Tuesday at Peabody Fire Department at 27A Lynn St. A caller reported a vehicle struck multiple houses and took off. Police stopped the vehicle in front of 67 County St.
A motor vehicle crash was reported at 6:52 a.m. Wednesday at 751 Lowell St. and 2 Catherine Drive.
Complaints
A well-being check was performed after a caller reported observing a male driver drinking alcohol “nips” while driving with a toddler in the back seat at 2 Howley St. and 192 Main St. at 11:59 a.m. Tuesday. Police stopped the vehicle by Bank of America on Andover Street. The driver left the vehicle in the parking lot and got a ride from his father.
A report of road rage at 6:43 p.m. Tuesday on Allens Lane. A caller reported that while she was at a red light, another driver got out of his vehicle and started kicking her vehicle. Matthew Aaron Naylor, 40, of 17A Heritage Drive, Apt. 11, Salem, was summoned for two counts of assault, threat to commit a crime, and wanton destruction of property.

A caller reported at 10:16 a.m. Tuesday that a U-Haul truck had been parked behind Eastern Bank on Paradise Road for an extended period of time and they were unsure if it was abandoned or stolen.
A train conductor reported at 7:50 p.m. that a group of youths was playing chicken and throwing rocks at the train. The group was gone when police arrived.
