Lynn, Peabody, Revere and Salem reported double-digit increases in new coronavirus cases on Wednesday.
New cases were also reported in Lynnfield.
In Lynn, 31 new cases were reported to bring the city’s caseload to 17,195. Of that total, 285 cases are active, 212 people have died, and 16,698 have recovered from the virus, according to city data.
Peabody has reported 64 new cases since last Friday to bring the city’s total numbers to 7,049 cases and 316 deaths, the health department said.
Seventeen new cases were reported in Revere, which now has 10,636 cases and 161 deaths, according to the city website.
In Salem, 28 new cases have been reported since last Friday. The city’s caseload is 4,575 and 80 people have died, the city website reported.
Lynnfield (1,181 cases, 29 deaths) reported two new cases, Nahant (246 cases, eight deaths) reported no change, and numbers were not updated in Marblehead, Saugus or Swampscott.
Swampscott had 1,126 cases and 19 deaths as of Tuesday, Marblehead had 1,295 cases and 31 deaths as of last Friday, and numbers have not been updated in Saugus (4,016 cases, 71 deaths) since April 13.
