Jesse Meharg, 32, was arrested at 3:13 p.m. Thursday and charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, and malicious destruction of property.

A fire was reported at 7:18 p.m. Tuesday on Winona Street. A caller reported a fire was spreading in the woods.
Theft
A report of a larceny at 9:55 p.m. Tuesday at 8 Esquire Circle. A woman reported she was scammed over the phone.
A larceny was reported at 12:21 p.m. Wednesday at 31 Pierpont St. A caller reported a stolen lawn mower and bicycle.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 10:48 a.m. Wednesday at 16 Silverleaf Way. A caller reported her vehicle was keyed.

Complaints
A 911 caller reported a raccoon sitting on the front steps of their house on Enmore Road at 10:24 a.m. Tuesday.
Police received a complaint at 1:49 p.m. Tuesday of a young child on a dirt bike who might fall in the area of Veterans Elementary School on Hurd Avenue.
Police received a Department of Public Works complaint at 9:06 p.m. Tuesday in the vicinity of the power plant on Sweetwater Street.

Accidents
At 7:01 p.m. April 12, a report of an erratic driver hitting a parked car. The driver got out of the car and the car ran him over. The driver was transported to Salem Hospital.
At 2:08 p.m. April 13, a caller reported that he had seen another driver back into a telephone pole, causing damage, and then drive away.
At 3:41 p.m. April 13, a caller reported having seen another driver hit a parked car and leave the scene on Devens Road at around 1:30 that afternoon.
Assault
A report of an assault at Phillips Park on Humphrey Street at 7:29 p.m. April 9.
At 2:56 p.m. April 13, a report of a fight at the baseball field at Phillips Park.
Complaints
A woman called at 1 p.m. April 9 to report that a male driver had tried to run her off the road on Paradise Road before speeding off through the Stop & Shop plaza.
At 2:37 p.m. April 9, a caller reported an unoccupied car on King’s Beach with its passenger side door open.
At 2:49 p.m. April 9, a caller from Stanley Elementary School called to report two missing 7-year-old students. The school called back to report that the students had been found while the call was being dispatched.
A father on Beach Avenue reported at 2:30 p.m. April 12 that his juvenile son, who had just returned from rehab, had left a concerning note and left the residence.
A resident of Blaney Street called the station to report that his Ring doorbell had recorded what sounded like an individual in his backyard at 3:45 a.m. April 9. He had checked his shed but nothing appeared to be missing.
At 10:23 a.m. April 10, a caller reported he had been in a fight the day before with another person who was now sending him threatening messages and images.
