BOSTON — A 47-year-old man was sentenced in federal court Tuesday to more than two years in prison for robbing multiple convenience stores in Lynn from September 2019 to January 2020.
Paul Pacheco, of Lynn, pleaded guilty to one count of robbery in November 2020. He was charged with committing five robberies at two convenience stores in Lynn, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office.
Pacheco displayed what prosecutors said appeared to be a firearm and demanded money during each robbery, prosecutors said.
Pacheco was arrested while committing the fifth robbery on Jan. 16, 2020, during which time law enforcement recovered the firearm he had displayed, which was later determined to be an air pistol. Police also recovered marked money stolen from the convenience store, prosecutors said.
U.S. District Court Judge Allison D. Burroughs sentenced Pacheco to 27 months in prison, two years of supervised release, and ordered him to pay $380 in restitution.
