His other prior executive and managerial positions include serving as the Metro Boston regional director for the Trustees of Reservations, director of youth development and family services at the Boston Center for Youth & Families, division head for the Cambridge Youth Program for the City of Cambridge Department of Human Services, and interim chief operating officer for the United South End Settlements. Chambers said he is passionate about building and supporting community-based programs and collaborations that serve a broad spectrum of youth and young adults.
“Family & Children’s Service has a great reputation for cultivating positive, social development and support services for youth and families of Greater Lynn and surrounding communities since 1885,” Chambers said. “We provide the opportunity for youth and families to be supported in a trusting environment.
“That is why I am honored to serve as the new executive director,” he said. “I look forward to advancing the organization’s goals.”
