Lynn, Revere, Saugus, Swampscott and Lynnfield all reported new COVID-19 cases, with 57 new cases reported in Lynn on Friday to bring the city’s caseload to 16,332. Of that total, 386 are active, 203 have died and 15,743 have recovered, according to the city’s data.
In Saugus as of Friday, there were 3,818 cases, up from 3,763 on Tuesday, and the number of deaths remained unchanged at 67.
Lynnfield (1,039 recovered) reported three new cases since Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 1,108. The number of deaths (29) was unchanged.
As of Tuesday, Marblehead has 1,231 total cases, up from 1,213 cases a week ago Friday. Death totals (31) were not updated. The average case count over the last 14 days as of Tuesday was 40.
In Peabody, numbers were not updated. As of Monday, Peabody had 6,561 cases and 305 deaths according to the health department.
Revere saw 23 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, bringing the city’s total number of cases to 10,068. A total of 159 residents have died and the city’s 14-day positivity rate is 3.75 percent, as of Friday night. The city currently sees an average of 20 new cases over a seven-day period, according to city data.
As of Tuesday, Salem had 4,272 cases and 78 deaths.
As of Friday evening, Nahant had not reported any new cases, remaining at nine total active cases over the last 14 days. In total, the town has seen 243 cases since the pandemic began, including eight deaths.
As of Thursday, Swampscott had 1,035 cases with 19 deaths.
