A report of a breaking and entering at 6:46 p.m. Wednesday at 167 Hamilton St. A caller reported her aunt’s home was being broken into while she was pulling up to get to the mail. A black pickup truck was reportedly taking off upon her arrival. Police reported there was no break and the incident was related to a probate issue.

A report of a larceny at 12:49 p.m. Wednesday at 82 Bristow St. A woman reported a package was stolen from the front steps of her home.

At 4:06 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported he was involved in a hit and run crash coming out of the Citizens Bank at 500 Paradise Road. No injuries were reported.

Animal Control
At 4:31 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a deceased dog or coyote covered in a blanket in the gutter on Essex Street toward Lynn, next to the cemetery. DPW was notified.
Hazardous conditions
At 2:57 p.m. Wednesday, a report of water bubbling from the ground in the parking lot at Phillips Park, 601 Humphrey St. DPW was notified.
Runaway
At 5:58 p.m., a youth approached a state trooper to report that his 11-year-old brother had run away. The brother was located on Reid Terrace and returned home.
