Arrests 

Vitalino Nolasco Juarez, of 9 Lynnfield St., was arrested on a warrant charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon at 6:41 p.m. Sunday. 

James Tarasuik, 67, of 63 Ingalls St., was arrested and charged with assault and battery, assault with a dangerous weapon, and larceny under $1,200 at 10:50 a.m. Monday. 

Adrian Watson, 51, of 589 Essex St., was arrested on a courtesy booking at 3:55 p.m. Sunday.

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 4:12 a.m. Sunday at 189 Beacon Hill Ave.; at 2:37 p.m. Sunday at 5 Olive St.; at 5:54 p.m. Sunday at 52 Rogers Ave.; at 9:24 p.m. Sunday at 100 Western Ave.

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 7:28 a.m. Friday at 525 Salem St.; at 10:01 a.m. Friday at 1 Dewing Road; at 5:26 p.m. Friday on S Broadway; at 6:42 p.m. Friday at 618 Summer St. and 1 Thomas Road; at 1:42 a.m. Saturday at 972 Salem St.  

Assaults 

A report of an assault at 7:12 p.m. Friday on Lookout Terrace. Domenic Andrew Dibiase, 62, of 59 Lynnbrook Road, was summoned for assault and battery and wanton destruction of property. 

 

MARBLEHEAD 

Arrests 

Richard B. Hill, 71, of 178 Atlantic Ave., was arrested and charged with OUI liquor at 4:59 p.m. Thursday. 

Trevor Stone, 23, of 51 Broughton Road, was arrested and charged with OUI liquor, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and marked lanes violation at 8:23 p.m. Saturday. 

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 11:22 a.m. Friday on Pleasant Street

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 9:30 a.m. Saturday on Russell Street; at 11:25 a.m. Saturday on South Street. 

A motor vehicle crash was reported at 8:23 p.m. Saturday on Ocean Avenue. A car into a wall was reported. The caller thought the car jumped the wall. Trevon Stone, 23, was arrested (see arrests). 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 7:23 p.m. Sunday on West Shore Drive. A caller reported a car crashed into a snowbank. The driver was issued a citation for marked lanes violation and impeding the operation of a motor vehicle. 

Complaints 

A report of a dog stuck in a heating vent at 11:47 a.m. Saturday on Washington Street. Police requested that an animal control officer respond with a noose pole as the dog was further into the heating vent than expected. The dog was extricated. 

A report of unemployment fraud at 12:05 p.m. Saturday on Jane Road.  

Theft 

A report of a larceny/forgery/fraud at 1:46 p.m. Thursday on Blueberry Road. An Amazon gift card scam was reported. 

A larceny/forgery/fraud was reported at 12:56 p.m. Friday on Leggs Hill Road.

 

NAHANT 

Complaints 

A caller reported two juveniles were playing near the pond at the Nahant Golf Club on Willow Road at 3:55 p.m. Saturday. The caller reported being concerned about their safety. Police reported the juveniles were sledding in the area and were told to stay away from the pond.

A caller reported there was a small pickup truck traveling at approximately 75 mph on the inbound lane of the Causeway at 12:10 p.m. Sunday. 

Vandalism 

A report of vandalism at 4:46 p.m. Sunday at Bayside Function Room on Range Road. A caller reported someone had keyed her vehicle, which she had parked in the function room lot during a snowstorm on Thursday night. Police reported there were no suspects.

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 3:40 p.m. Friday at Bartholomew Street and Nathans Way; at 3:44 p.m. Friday at 43 Bartholomew Street and 99 Glenway Ave.; at 4 p.m. Friday at 148 Bartholomew St. and 0 Gedney Drive; at 5:06 p.m. Friday on Northshore Road; at 7:42 p.m. Friday at St. Adelaide’s Parish Center at 712 Lowell St.; at 8:14 p.m. Friday at 93 Gardner St. and 50 Margin St.; at 8:36 p.m. Friday at 13 Mason St.; at 11:54 a.m. Saturday at City Hall at 24 Lowell St.; at 12:40 a.m. Sunday on Route 95 North; at 9:31 a.m. Monday at 63 Washington St.     

A two-car crash was reported at 4:01 p.m. Friday at 13 Ellsworth Road. Jeffrey Esmin Barbosa, 20, of 34 Bristow St., Saugus, was summoned for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 

A motor vehicle crash was reported at 6:59 p.m. Friday at 29 Pierpont St. A vehicle reportedly struck a fence, which left one of its tires hanging over the brook. Lily Morais, 33, was summoned for operating after suspension.  

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 8:20 p.m. Friday at McDonald’s at 133 Main St. Edna Pereira Da Silva, 35, of 28 Boston St., Apt. 2, Salem, was summoned for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 8:39 p.m. Friday at 7-Eleven at 79 Lowell St.; at 2:31 p.m. Saturday at 4 Gemma Drive; at 3:19 p.m. Saturday at 2 Sunset Drive and 216 Lynn St.; at 11:38 a.m. Sunday at 13 Nelson Road; at 9:34 a.m. Monday at Red’s Kitchen and Tavern at 131 Newbury St.

Complaints 

A report of suspicious activity at 1:51 a.m. Saturday at Pierpont Park on Pierpont Street. A caller reported a man in a black coat had walked into a pole and was yelling for people to fight him. The man was gone prior to police arrival. 

Overdose 

A fentanyl overdose was reported at 7:08 a.m. Sunday on Proctor Circle. The person was taken to Salem Hospital. 

A report of an overdose at 4:05 p.m. Sunday at 64 Proctor Circle. The person was taken to Salem Hospital. 

Theft 

A report of a larceny at 11:28 p.m. Friday at Leather City Commons at 77 Lowell St. An officer was flagged down by a man who reported his belongings were stolen at the Commons. Police spoke with the people involved, which resulted in the items being returned to the owner. 

A larceny was reported at 1:23 p.m. Sunday at 19 Goldberg Road. A caller reported her medication was stolen. 

Stolen clothing was reported at 5:03 p.m. Sunday at Sunshine Laundry at 48 Foster St. Police reported the suspects were caught on camera. 

Vandalism 

A report of vandalism at 10:56 a.m. Sunday at Lt Ross Park at 36 Johnson St. A caller reported the mosaic greenway sign at the start of the bike path appeared to have been hit by a foreign object. 

Vandalism was reported at 8:34 p.m. Sunday at 2 Nickerson Road. A caller reported multiple vehicles were egged. 

 

SAUGUS 

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 6:49 a.m. Friday at Boston Market Corporation at 168 Broadway; at 8:28 p.m. Friday at 56 Forest St. 

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 12:43 a.m. Saturday at Super Petroleum, Inc. at 1330 Broadway.

Complaints 

A report of a suspicious person at 1:45 a.m. Saturday at CVS at 1075 Broadway. A caller reported he was being chased by someone who was possibly under the influence. Police reported there was a verbal argument between two people. 

A well-being check was performed in the area of 10 Elm Street at 3:04 p.m. Saturday after a caller reported there was a person out on the ice. Police reported a man who had been ice fishing was sent on his way. 

Theft 

A report of a motor vehicle theft at 3:54 a.m. Sunday at Red Roof Inn at 920 Broadway. A caller reported her boyfriend took her car without permission. 

 

SWAMPSCOTT

Accidents

At 9:49 a.m. Friday, a caller reported that a DPW truck struck a parked vehicle on Lawrence Terrace.

At 2:41 p.m. Friday, a minor crash was reported in the CVS parking lot on Paradise Road. No injuries were reported.

At 3:28 p.m. Friday, a minor crash was reported on Humphrey Street by the Lynn line. No injuries were reported.

At 4:20 p.m. Friday, a vehicle struck a pole on Norfolk Avenue. No injuries were reported.

At 4:42 p.m. Friday, a truck struck a traffic pole at the corner of Ellis and Paradise roads.

At 10:46 p.m. Friday, a minor crash was reported on Paradise Road. No injuries were reported.

Animal Complaints

A caller to the station at 3:15 p.m. Friday expressed concern about a dog tied to the front of a house on Bay View Drive.

At 3:47 p.m. Friday, police received a report of a possible lost cat on Plymouth Avenue.

Suspicious Activity

At 8:34 p.m. Friday, a caller reported that someone had placed a large bag on the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Atlantic Road.

At 9:11 p.m. Friday, a caller reported that two men had parked a U-Haul truck in front of his house on Sunset Drive. The men got out of the truck and drove away in another car, leaving the U-Haul running in the middle of the road.
