A report of operating under the influence of liquor at 11:20 p.m. Saturday at 2 Driscoll St. and 112 Tremont St. A caller reported an erratic driver was all over the road and striking parked vehicles. Police arrested the driver, Mark N. Lausier, 27, for OUI liquor (see arrests).
Complaints
A report of suspicious activity at 4:36 p.m. Friday at Magical Beginners at 185 Lynn St. A caller reported a suspicious man was taking pictures of the building. Police advised the school to notify the department if he returned.
Suspicious activity was reported at 7:42 a.m. Sunday at Workout World at 216 Newbury St. Atlantic Ambulance personnel reported a bearded man was attempting to fight passing cars. An officer reported the man was on his way back to Portland, Maine, and did not want police services.
A report of suspicious activity at 4:55 p.m. Sunday at Treadwell’s Ice Cream Stand at 46 Margin St. A caller reported her neighbor called and told her that she was being followed. The victim said the driver of a black Jeep with Kentucky plates confronted her after she pulled out of St. Thomas. The victim thought the driver pointed an object at her from the Jeep, and felt that it must be a gun due to his aggressive nature.
Fire
A report of a vehicle fire at 4:23 p.m. Friday at 14 Madison Ave. The blaze was knocked down by the fire department.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 6:19 p.m. Sunday at Peabody Municipal Light Plant at 201 Warren St. A caller reported four to five juveniles were breaking windows at the municipal building. An officer found the six youths in the laundry room of Terrace Estates. Police reported three windows were broken and that the six juveniles were picked up by their parents. Six juveniles, ages 11 to 14, were arrested and charged with vandalizing property.
Vandalism was reported at 9:10 a.m. Monday at Northshore Community Life Center at 75 Central St. A caller reported a window was smashed in the middle of the night.
