Accidents
Police received a report of a motor vehicle crash at 10:52 a.m. Wednesday at Walnut and Central streets; at 7:08 p.m. Wednesday in the area of McDonald’s on Broadway.
Police received a report at 3:09 p.m. Wednesday of a motor vehicle crash with non-fatal injuries at Walnut Street and Broadway.
A man walked into the station at 6:55 p.m. Wednesday to report that last Monday, while driving his grandfather’s car on Broadway by the 99 split, another motor vehicle allegedly struck his car and did not stop. The man was advised to contact his grandfather’s insurance and give them pertinent information.
Complaints
Police received a call at 2:12 p.m. Wednesday from a man who reported his dog was attacked by another dog residing on Summit Avenue. Dispatched officers determined the caller was walking his dogs past a neighboring house when a dark-colored pitbull ran out from the yard and attacked his dogs. A report was taken.
A woman on Dustin Street reported at 5:46 p.m. Wednesday that an unfamiliar female knocked on her door, identified herself as “Maria,” and stated that she had been watching the woman for a year through GPS tracking. Dispatched officers were unable to locate the woman.
Theft
Police received a call at 1:36 p.m. Wednesday from an employee of 7-Eleven on Lincoln Avenue. who reported a customer was repeatedly coming into the business and stealing product. Officers were dispatched for a report.
An employee of Victoria’s Secret on Broadway reported a past larceny at 6:06 p.m. Wednesday.
An employee of Kowloon Restaurant on Broadway reported a party ran out on their bill at 8:07 p.m. Wednesday. Dispatched officers reported the party did end up paying their bill.
Vandalism
A man walked into the station at 5:36 p.m. Wednesday to report that on the previous Sunday, at about 10:30 p.m. while at the Square One Mall, he had come out to his motor vehicle to find the two front tires had been punctured. Officers took down information provided.
