The St. Mary’s girls hockey team started fast and never let up Saturday night, rolling to a 9-0 win over Malden Catholic on the Spartans’ Senior Night at Connery Rink.
Prior to the game, the Spartans honored their group of four seniors — Samantha Porazinski, Felicia D’Alessandro, Marina DiBiasio and Makayla McGrath — for their contributions to the program over the years.
Porazinski netted a hat trick in the victory, while DiBiasio and freshman Aria Kader each had one goal and two assists. Sophomores Jenna Chaplain, Lily Pregent and Kelly Lovett each had one goal and one assist, while D’Alessandro scored one goal. Freshman Kasey Litwin notched two assists, while McGrath, freshman Hannah Coleman and freshman Regan Sullivan each had one assist. Freshman goalie Gianna Tringale earned her first career shutout in net.
St. Mary’s (7-2-1) travels to Arlington Catholic Monday night (8).

BOYS HOCKEY
Saugus 8, Peabody 3
Behind a four-goal performance from Chris Regnetta, the Sachems rallied back from a 3-2 deficit to score the final six goals of the game and earn the win.
Massey Ventre and Kevin McMaster scored two goals each for Saugus, while goalie Nick Divola made 20 saves to earn the win in net.
Saugus (2-2-1) plays on the road at Gloucester Monday afternoon (4).
Senior Matt Devin, who transferred to Peabody from Lynn, notched two goals and one assist in the loss for the Tanners. Luke Buckley added one goal and one assist.
Peabody (1-4-1) hosts Beverly Wednesday evening (5:15).
Bishop Fenwick 2, Bishop Feehan 2 (Sunday)
After pausing before the game to say a prayer for injured Feehan player AJ Quetta, the Crusaders skated to a draw with their CCL foe.
Cameron Martin had one goal and one assist in the tie, while Max Vieira scored one goal. Goalie Dillon Bloom played well in net for the Crusaders.
Fenwick (1-4-1) plays on the road at Pope Francis Thursday night (7:40).
Bishop Fenwick 6, Lowell Catholic 1 (Saturday)
Cameron Martin paced the Fenwick offense with two goals and one assist, while Max Vieira had one goal and one assist. Aidan Anthony, Kinn Muniz and Manny Alvarez-Segee each scored one goal, while Dillon Knizak, Kevin Wood, Nick Sasso and Mark Wilson each had one assist.
St. John’s Prep 2, Malden Catholic 2
Pierce Blaeser and Jake Vana both scored their first career varsity goals in the draw, while Sean O’Brian and Cole Blaeser each had one assist.

Drew Damiani scored the lone goal in the loss for the Pioneers.

Despite a 0-0 tie going into the final period, Beverly was able to score four unanswered goals to pull off the upset win.

Junior J.D. Parker scored one goal in the win for the Vikings.

St. Mary’s 51, Arlington Catholic 48
In his first start of the season, sophomore Nick Sacco filled the stat sheet with eight points, 11 rebounds and three steals to help lead St. Mary’s to the win. Sophomore Derick Coulanges added six points and nine rebounds for the Spartans.
