Complaints
A report of a suspicious person at 8:53 a.m. Tuesday at Centre Congregational Church at Summer and Main streets. A caller reported a suspicious man dressed in a military uniform was sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot. Police advised the caller that the man is in the U.S. Army and is serving his country. The man’s vehicle was disabled, which he was trying to fix. Nonetheless, the caller demanded that an officer stand by until the man left the property because he was uncomfortable. Police told the caller that an army insurrection was not occuring at the location.
Theft
A report of a larceny at 4:18 p.m. Monday at I Storage at 102 S Broadway. A caller reported a storage unit had been broken into.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 3:15 p.m. Thursday on Washington Street.
Complaints
A report of an attempted abduction at 4:50 p.m. Thursday on Dodge Road. A caller reported a man tried to abduct his son when he was at Stramski’s Park. The boy was reportedly at the park with a couple of his friends when the suspect chased him and tried to grab him. Police were unable to locate the suspect.
NAHANT
Animal Control
A resident called at 1:33 p.m. Thursday to report a loose dog on Spring Road. A dispatched officer was unable to locate the dog.
Complaints
Police received a report at 3:04 p.m. Thursday about a suspicious vehicle parked on the Nature Path on Ward Road. A dispatched officer reported detecting no unusual activity.
SAUGUS
Accidents
Police received a call at 6:18 p.m. Thursday from a party who reported an Amazon delivery driver had driven over their lawn on Bailey Avenue damaging lights. A dispatched officer reported the property owner made arrangements with the driver to pay for the damage to the lights.
Complaints
Police received a call at 3:21 a.m. Friday from a woman who reported management at the Red Roof Inn on Broadway was refusing to let her stay at the hotel. Dispatched officers reported requesting an ambulance for evaluation. One party was transported to Melrose-Wakefield hospital.
A 911 caller at 10:27 a.m. Thursday reported loud yelling between two parties coming from the frozen food area at Stop & Shop on Main Street. Dispatched officers reported two parties were having an argument that they agreed to move outside.
Shoplifting
An employee at Walmart on Broadway called at 3:33 p.m. Thursday to request an officer be present while an employee was terminated.
Theft
A 911 caller at 8:52 p.m. Thursday reported his vehicle was broken into around 7 p.m. while he was at LA Fitness on Broadway. Officers were dispatched for a report.
SWAMPSCOTT

A report of a breaking and entering at 12:15 a.m. Friday at 197 Essex St. The homeowner reported a front door break-in.
