Six more people have died from the coronavirus in Peabody since Monday, which brings the city’s death toll to 249.
And triple-digit case spikes were reported in Lynn, Peabody and Revere on Wednesday.
In Peabody, 140 new cases have been reported since Monday to bring the city’s caseload to 4,958. A total of 3,521 people have recovered from the virus, according to the health department.
Lynn reported 169 new cases on Wednesday, which brings the city’s caseload to 13,060. Of that total, 2,110 cases are active, 166 people have died, and 10,784 have recovered, according to city data.
One hundred new cases were reported in Revere, which now has 7,948 cases and 129 deaths, according to the city website.
In Lynnfield (761 cases, 23 deaths), 10 new cases were reported, and an additional case was reported in Nahant (177 cases, six deaths), according to town data from both communities.
Numbers were not updated in Marblehead, Salem, Saugus or Swampscott on Wednesday.
As of Tuesday, Salem had 3,201 cases and 63 deaths, and Saugus had 2,781 cases and 53 deaths. Swampscott had 730 cases and 13 deaths as of Monday, and Marblehead (789 cases, 31 deaths) has not provided updated numbers since last Friday.
