A West Shore Drive resident called police on Thursday at 12:04 p.m. to report to police a suspected scam involving Amazon gift cards.
An Amherst Road caller contacted police on Thursday at 1:43 p.m. claiming to have received a call about “a car with blood found in Texas” with the caller claiming to be from the Social Security Administration and attempting to verify the Amherst Road caller’s Social Security number.
A Goodwins Court caller told police on Thursday at 3:52 p.m. that a Postal Service truck regularly blocks her garage entrance. Police advised the caller on how to contact the postmaster.
Fraud
Police received a report of suspected fraud on Thursday at 4:43 p.m. from a Pilgrim Road resident.

Animal Control
Police received a walk-in report at 2:32 p.m. Thursday from a woman who stated she found a small white dog with a pink collar on Nahant Road near the Nahant Country Club. The owners were later located.
Police received a call about an injured seagull at East Point at 8:04 a.m. Thursday. The caller was advised accordingly.
Complaints
Police received a complaint about barking dogs at 10:13 p.m. Wednesday on Summer Street. Peace was restored.
A caller reported a suspicious vehicle on Tallwood and Nahant roads at 8:52 p.m. Wednesday. Dispatched officers reported a family had pulled over to eat their dinner.
A female caller reported a vehicle driving recklessly on the causeway at 4:57 p.m. Wednesday. An area check turned up negative.
Fraud
A man called the station at 12:05 p.m. Thursday to report he was the victim of an online scam through a fake Amazon website. A report was taken.

Arrest
Robert Pingaro, 44, of 111R Main St., was arrested on warrant charges of operating under the influence of drugs, second offense, drug possession and motor vehicle violations at 9:57 a.m. Thursday.
Complaint
Police responded to Paleologos Street on a complaint of someone looking into a residence’s windows and walking uninvited into the home on Wednesday at 5:59 p.m.
Police received a call on Wednesday at 9:54 p.m. from Myles Road about a harassing call involving someone breathing heavily.
Enforcement
Police cited a motor vehicle driver on Lowell Street on Wednesday at 8:11 p.m. for speeding, illegal passing and marked lane violation.
Police summoned a driver for unregistered/uninsured motor vehicle on Wednesday at 9:02 p.m. after receiving a report of a 100-plus vehicle convoy traveling around the North Shore with stops at the Square One Mall, Liberty Tree Mall and stopping at 300 Andover St. Police subsequently reported the convoy was an automobile club.
