Joshua Gonzalez, 26, of 26 Geneva St. Salem, was arrested at 4:11 Monday on charges of driving with a suspended license and drug possession with intent to distribute.
Bunly Phok, 49, was arrested at 1:41 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of assault and battery on an elderly person.

NAHANT
Accident
Police reported a minor motor vehicle accident at 4:53 p.m. Saturday in the vicinity of Wilson Road. An officer oversaw the exchange of paperwork.
Complaints
A woman called the station at 9:07 a.m. Saturday to report a vehicle had been parked in the area of Forty Steps Lane overnight with its door open. An officer reported closing the trunk of the vehicle but was unable to make contact with the vehicle’s owner.
A woman walked into the station at 3:36 p.m. Friday to report a resident on Valley Road had a large pile of brush that appeared to be intended for burning. An officer checked the area and reported the brush was gathered in a large pile with no accelerants nearby. No further action was required.
SAUGUS
Arrest
Mohamed Hussein, 18, of Chelsea, was arrested on charges of shoplifting by asportation.
Accident
Police received a report of a hit and run at 4:55 p.m. Monday near Snyder Machine Shop on Walnut Street. Officers took down a report.
Breaking and Entering
Police received a call at 8:39 p.m. Monday from a man at Wood Spring Suites on Broadway who reported his motor vehicle was broken into while in the parking lot. He stated that two female suspects fled on to Route 1 and that nothing was taken from the vehicle. Officers were dispatched for a report.
A man called the station at 10:28 a.m. Monday to report his house on Lincoln Ave was broken into the night before. Two officers were dispatched for a report.
A woman called police at 1:27 a.m. Monday to report an attempted break and enter at her home on Riverview Ave. The woman stated that her barking dog alerted her something was wrong, and as she came down the stairs, she saw her front door was wide open. Dispatched officers spoke with the caller and checked the home. There were no signs of forced entry.
Complaints
Police received a call at 6:08 a.m. Tuesday from a resident who reported F45 Gym on Broadway had been playing music very loudly since 5 a.m. Dispatched officers reported the music had been turned down.
A caller at 9:25 p.m. Monday reported a male could be head yelling profanity and concerning statements in the vicinity of King Street. Dispatched officers reported locating the male, who did not want to speak with them.
Theft
Police received a call at 6:04 p.m. Monday from a woman at DSW on Broadway who reported a previous shoplifting incident. An officer was dispatched to the store to take down a report.
A caller at 5:01 p.m. Monday reported chasing a male shoplifter at Macy’s department store at Square One Mall on Broadway. Dispatched officers reported transporting one male shoplifter to the station in custody.
