Lynn boxer Danny Avery dies at 60

Lynn boxer Danny Avery, who fought 13 professional bouts during a five-year career in the 1980s, died Thursday. He was 60 years old. 

Avery, a Lynn Classical graduate, trained with the Petronelli brothers out of Brockton, who were also the trainers of International Boxing Hall of Famer and fellow Massachusetts native Marvin Hagler.
