Experienced core set to lead Bishop Fenwick boys basketball

PEABODY -- The Bishop Fenwick boys basketball team has undergone some growing pains over the past couple of years, and the Crusaders are hoping to enjoy the fruits of their labor this coming season. With an experienced core returning to the court in 2020-2021, Fenwick is primed to take the next step in its development.

“We really rounded ourselves into a solid team by the end of last year,” said coach Kevin Moran. “We’ve grown a lot over the past couple years, and last year in particular. Obviously the season didn’t end how we would’ve liked, but I think we can take a lot of lessons into this year.”

The Crusaders went 11-9 last season and earned the No. 10 seed in the Division 4 North tournament. With nearly all of that team’s starters back for another year, Moran feels that Fenwick has a chance to hit the gro…
