LYNN — A rollover crash on the Lynnway sent a 20-year-old Lynn man to the hospital Tuesday night.
The crash, which occurred shortly after 6 p.m., appears to have happened when the man apparently ran a red light near the Shepard Street intersection and crashed his 2014 Honda Accord into a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, State Police Trooper Paul Sullivan said.
The collision caused the man’s car to roll over. The Lynn man was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, but the driver of the Jeep, a 34-year-old Swampscott man, was not injured, Sullivan said.
No citations have been issued and the crash is under investigation, Sullivan said.
