Sean Bright, 51, of 41 Lewis St., was arrested and charged with nighttime breaking and entering for a felony, larceny under $1,200, and malicious destruction of property at 1:08 p.m. Sunday.
Derek Iorio-Guthro, 28, of 51 Johnson St., was arrested and charged with nighttime breaking and entering for a felony, larceny over $1,200, and violation of the city knife ordinance at 2:37 a.m. Monday.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 12:33 p.m. Sunday at Atlantic Avenue and Hawkes Street.
A walk-in reported at 12:33 Sunday that a woman in a black Jeep struck their car while she was sitting in it. She reported that she honked her horn, got out of the car and waved the lady in the Jeep over. The woman then reportedly said “I didn’t hit your car” and drove off.
Complaints
A caller reported at 1:17 Sunday that a truck swerved towards a group of kids riding bikes on Humphrey Street and Tedesco Street. The truck was last seen heading towards Salem.
A caller reported a group of 15-20 kids on bikes were riding in and out of traffic and doing wheelies down the middle of Atlantic Avenue near Gerry Street at 1:20 p.m. Sunday. She said someone was going to get hurt and reported that one of the kids called her an expletive. An officer located the kids, but they took off in all different directions after they saw police. Another caller reported one of the kids had kicked her vehicle, which caused damage. Another caller reported the group was “running cars off the road and being aggressive.” A Salem police sergeant reported the group had no regard for public safety.
Theft
A report of a larceny/forgery/fraud at 12:49 p.m. Sunday on Clifton Heights Lane. A caller reported packages were being taken before he could get to them. An officer reported all of the packages were tracked down.

Assaults
A report of an assault and battery at 3:09 p.m. Saturday on Warren Street. A caller was reportedly assaulted after asking a neighbor to wear a mask.
Complaints
A report of suspicious activity at 4:52 a.m. Saturday on Clark Road. An off-duty officer reported he heard possible gunshots. Police checked the surrounding area and reported the call was unfounded.
A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 6:23 p.m. Saturday at 31 Joyce Road and 31 Whitney Drive. A caller reported a female jumped out of a white Mercedes while screaming. She reportedly ran away down Whitney Street. Police checked the area and were unable to find the described vehicle or anyone who was in need of assistance.
A report of gunshots at 2:42 a.m. Monday on Endicott Street.
Theft
A report of a larceny at 2:36 p.m. Saturday at 35 Tsitsinos Drive. A caller reported porch pirates. A woman was caught stealing packages on camera. Approximately $500 worth of merchandise was in the stolen packages. Police went to the caller’s door, but he did not answer.
A larceny was reported at 5:16 p.m. Saturday at 4 Sherman St. A caller reported she was involved in an altercation with another person earlier in the day and thought her wallet was dropped or stolen in the scuffle. The caller later reported she had found the items that were missing.
A report of a stolen motor vehicle at 4:45 a.m. Monday at Extended Stay America at 200 Jubilee Drive.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 12:23 a.m. Sunday on Railroad Avenue. A woman flagged down an officer to report her car was toilet papered. She thought that the act was committed because she had a Trump sign on her car.
Vandalism was reported at 12:47 p.m. Sunday at Extended Stay America at 200 Jubilee Drive. A caller reported the driver’s side window of her car was smashed out with a rock that was found on the seat. Her wallet, which contained $100 in cash, a carton of cigarettes, her spare key and five credit cards, was reported stolen.
A report of vandalism at 5:01 p.m. Sunday on Overlea Avenue. A caller reported there was a large group of juveniles on Cedar Grove, who were knocking over trash barrels. Police checked the areas and could not find the juveniles, who had reportedly been riding bikes.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 12:06 p.m. Sunday at Walgreens at 1228 Broadway; at 3:21 p.m. Sunday at Oaklandvale Elementary School at 266 Main St.; at 3:32 p.m. Sunday at Kohl’s at 333 Broadway; at 12:19 a.m. Monday at 57 Chestnut St.
A motor vehicle crash with injuries was reported at 1:33 p.m. Sunday at 32 Ballard St. A crash involving a motorcycle was reported. One person was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with a firefighter on board.

A larceny was reported at 5:39 p.m. Saturday at 5:39 p.m. Saturday at Hooters at 1143 Broadway. A caller reported a customer approached him and said $20,000 was taken from his car.
A report of a larceny at 10:57 p.m. Saturday at CVS at 1075 Broadway. A caller reported a man came in to purchase gift cards from the store, but once she told him he couldn’t pay for the cards she had activated with Venmo, he fled the store with the cards. The man reportedly stole about $1,000 worth of gift cards.
A larceny was reported at 4:49 p.m. Sunday at Walmart at 770 Broadway. A woman’s wallet reportedly went missing after she left it in her carriage. Police reported video footage showed the woman had the wallet when she left the store.
