A caller reported more than 50 people were out front of a Washington Street establishment and were not observing the governor’s rules at 7:25 p.m. Friday. The caller reported people were urinating against the walls. Police responded and reported everyone was in the dining area and there did not appear to be a problem.
A report of a vulgar sign at 10:09 a.m. Saturday on Sheldon Road. A caller reported a Trump sign has had a lewd message on it for three weeks and the resident refuses to clean it up or take it down. Police spoke with the homeowner who reported the sign had been vandalized a few days prior to the call and agreed to remove it.
A report of a porta potty knocked over at 11:33 p.m. Saturday on Crestwood Road. A caller reported a bunch of kids driving in a pickup truck had knocked a porta potty over, which went into her driveway.

A report of vandalism at 4:29 p.m. Friday on Ocean Street. A caller reported someone threw a rock through his car’s back window. Police reported the rock was from a neighbor’s contractor, who was stump grinding. The two parties decided to handle the matter on their own.

A report of suspicious activity at 8:29 a.m. Friday at 4 Perkins St. and 62 Franklin St. A caller reported a man had a sledgehammer and was possibly trying to rip up the road. Police reported DPW was on scene.
A report of a disturbance at 7:11 p.m. Friday at Extended Stay America at 200 Jubilee Drive. Hotel staff reported a guest was acting erratically, and was believed to be under the influence. The guest was reportedly digging through trash and stealing Christmas ornaments. Police reported the guest declined medical treatment and had returned to her room for the evening.
A caller reported a squirrel was running around the guest bedroom at 7:22 p.m. Friday at 10 Bourbon St. An officer reported the animal was a bat, which was released.
