Danvers’ Bezanson named All-American as EMass girls soccer all-stars are released

The Eastern Massachusetts Girls Soccer Coaches Association (EMGSA) and the United Soccer Coaches Association (USCA) released their list of girls soccer all-stars Wednesday morning, and Danvers junior star Arianna Bezanson has been named as one of three All-Americans from Massachusetts. 

Following a season that saw her score 22 goals in 11 games and help lead Danvers to an 11-0 record, Bezanson becomes the third Danvers player to be named a high school All-American (Corey Persson, boys soccer and Mark Bavaro, football).

Bishop Fenwick senior captain Isabella DelVecchio was named to the EMGSA/USCA All-State team along with Beverly goalkeeper Sydney Anderson, Masconomet forward Morgan Bovardi, Hamilton-Wenham’s Jackie Chapdelaine and Bezanson and Olivia Anderson from Danvers. 

A number of local athletes were also named EMGSA/USCA All-Stars, including St. Mary’s Susannah Cornell, Peabody’s Aja Alimonti, Fenwick’s Ella Morgan, Lynnfield’s Lauren Braconnier, Marblehead’s Anna Rigby, Swampscott’s Sophie DiGrande and Maddie Hudson, Beverly’s Lia Whitehair and Kayleigh Crowell, Danvers’ Riley DiGilio, Masconomet’s Allie Vaillancourt, Ali Karafotias and Elena Lindonen, Hamilton-Wenham’s Claire Nistl and Ipswich’s Carter King.
