To the editor:
In my humble opinion, President Donald J. Trump lost the election because of his behavior and that of his supporters, which goes to show that our actions speak louder than words.
We need to move forward and give our democracy a chance to work and stop all the mean, hateful rhetoric. The whole world is watching us and it certainly doesn’t look good, especially death threats aimed at people counting votes.
The people have spoken: President Trump needs to concede and all his legal team and supporters need to calm down, take a deep breath and allow our democracy to work in the way it’s supposed to and let the transition be peaceful.
I would also like to say to all my Christian friends who supported President Trump that I understand you are angry and disappointed. However, there were several reasons why other Christians voted for President-elect Biden and Kamala Harris.
They did not like seeing the Confederate flag or a Trump supporter punching an opposing protester or the president mocking a reporter wearing a mask or the president calling our fallen veterans losers and suckers.
We need to not bully others that disagree with us and work together for all.
