A caller reported an active burglary at her residence at 12:37 p.m, in which a man in a hoodie appeared to be at her front door holding some sort of credit card. Police discovered that the man was actually a landscaper leaving his business card at the residence.

Animal Control
Police received a call at 4:13 p.m. Sunday from a woman who reported she was attacked by her neighbor’s dog on Summer Street. No reported injuries. An officer reported he spoke with the neighbor about the matter and documented the incident.
Complaints
A caller at 8:36 p.m. Sunday stated there were two youths in Marjoram Park who may have been lighting a fire and/or drinking. Dispatched officers reported the parties were gone upon arrival.
Police received a call at 3:55 p.m. Sunday from a resident who reported people were trespassing on the rocks behind her house on Wharf Street. Dispatched officers reported it was a father and son fishing at the edge of the water on the rocks. They were moved along.

A woman came into the station at 3:17 p.m. Monday to report her car had been damaged while it was parked at Applebee’s Restaurant on Broadway. The woman did not have any information on the suspect’s vehicle and was advised to contact her car’s insurance.
Complaints
Police received a report at 10:30 p.m. Monday of cars drag racing on the Salem Turnpike. A dispatched officer could not locate the described vehicles.
A caller at 9:42 p.m. Monday reported there was a male party, possibly intoxicated, who had been walking up and down the aisles of Walgreens on Broadway before going into the bathroom and locking the door. Officers were dispatched for more information.
Police received a call from a homeowner at 7:40 p.m. Monday who reported there was a male party walking on his property on Wendell Street. The party was gone prior to officer arrival.
Fraud
A man walked into the station at 4:54 p.m. Monday to report a fraudulent account had been opened under his name with National Grid. A report was taken.
Police received a walk-in report at 3:39 p.m. Monday from a man who stated he received an unemployment claim email from his workplace when he had not filed any claims. A report was taken.
A woman came into the station at 1:33 p.m. monday to report a fraudulent unemployment claim had been opened at her workplace. A report was taken.
Thefts
Loss Prevention from Macy’s at Square One Mall reported at 6:47 p.m. Monday that a male party and female party had left the store without paying for merchandise. An officer was dispatched for more information.
Police received a report at 4:05 p.m. Monday of a past shoplifting incident at Victoria’s Secret on Broadway in which over $2,000 in merchandise was stolen. An officer was dispatched for a report.
