SWAMPSCOTT — Local creative people are bringing their work to art lovers through Made by 01907, ReachArts’ online art show scheduled for Nov. 12-15.
Viewable through https://reacharts.org/Made-by-01907, the show is, in the words of ReachArts co-presidents David and Heidi Shears, a chance to showcase 22 artists’ talents.
“Swampscott has a lot of talented people who make a variety of great products and we also have generous businesses who are willing to support the arts,” said the Shears. Participating artists featuring their work for sale include Bill’s Beadery, Goo Jaya Designs, Hola Becky, MMCrafts, Nancy Spelbrink, Sew Envious, The Beaded Birdie, Christine Johnson Studio, Gretchen Wollerscheid, Jackie’s Jems, Nancy Marland jewelry, Pots-of-Paradise, Signs by MiCo, Tom Jefferies, eGlassy Lady, Hannah Cloud Sharpless, Mira Mar print lab, North Shore Wooden Bowls, S.M. Pottery, Studio Raza and Wilder Woodcrafts. ReachArts collected raffle items from Swampscott businesses to provide an added purchase incentive. During the art sales days Nov. 12-15, each raffle will be assigned a time slot and anyone who purchases a work for $20 from an artist is enrolled in the raffle. The larger the purchase, the greater the chance to win. Raffle donors include The Hiccup, Inc., Cafe Avellino, Elements Massage, Avanti Hair Design, Chi Modern Asian cuisine, G Bar & Kitchen, Mission on the Bay, Cutting Crew hair salon, Paradise Auto Service, The Cookie Monstah, Kats Boutique, European Wax Center, Pichleart, Raina’s Hair Color Salon, David Shear Art, Lees Landscaping, Sundance Fisheries, Weaver Orthodontics, Marblehead Natural Healing, Benevento Insurance Agency, Club Vital Fitness, Gold Feather Photography, Scaler Marketing and Grit and Polish Design.
