Sorn Sath, 38, of 121 High Rock St., was arrested and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and on warrant charges of OUI liquor, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, alcohol from an open container in a motor vehicle, and motor vehicle not meeting safety standards at 7:04 p.m. Wednesday.
Patrick Swinson-Biffi, 23, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, resisting arrest and malicious destruction of property at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday.

NAHANT
Animal Control
Police received a 911 call at 11:37 a.m. Wednesday from a woman on Summer Street Court who stated her dog ate a bee and was not breathing. She was transferred to EMS.
A caller came into the station at 1:24 p.m. Tuesday to report that he and his wife were almost attacked that morning by a coyote by 38 Nahant Rd. He stated it was crawling up behind them as if it were going to attack. The party also stated that another woman and small dog were chased in the same area. The party was advised to call in “real time” and was provided with the contact information for Animal Control.
Complaints
Police received a call from a resident at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday who complained that three vehicles, a black Honda, a silver Honda, and a blue BMW, sped down Willow Road toward the golf course and parked along the seawall area. A dispatched officer spoke with a couple of parties and advised them of the speed limit.
Police received a complaint of cars speeding on Willow Road at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday. The caller requested that more officers be present at the location.
A woman on Breezy Hill Terrace called the station at 7:53 p.m. Monday to report her daughter’s ex-boyfriend was on the porch and refusing to leave. The woman was kept on the line as an officer was dispatched to the home. The officer stated that the unwanted party was there to retrieve his personal property for a job in the morning. The boyfriend took his property and left without incident.
Water Incident
A woman called at 1:29 p.m. Wednesday to report a boat was washing ashore at Joe’s Beach. An officer confirmed the harbormaster was already notified.
Police received a report at 2:22 p.m. Tuesday from a caller who stated a kite boarder off of Little Nahant Road appeared to be in distress and couldn’t get away from the rocks. A dispatched officer reported the kite boarder did not appear to be in distress.

Accidents
A report of a motor vehicle crash at 1:36 p.m. Wednesday at 52 Washington St.; at 3:27 p.m. Wednesday at 2 County St. and 91 Lynn St.
Complaints
A report of operating under the influence of drugs at 11:39 a.m. Wednesday at 116 Washington St. Erratic operation was reported. Joseph Stanley Majkut II, 58, of 35 Osgood St., Apt. 1, Salem, was taken to Salem Hospital and issued a summons for two counts of Class E drug possession and OUI drugs third offense.
A report of suspicious activity at 7:48 p.m. Wednesday at Four Your Convenience at 150 Main St. A caller reported a group of approximately 10 people were gathered in front of the store. One of the men reportedly appeared to be carrying an assault rifle. Police spoke with others, who did not see a large group in the area.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 11:41 a.m. Wednesday at 36 Paleologos St. A caller reported her vehicle was damaged overnight.
