An additional death was reported in Peabody and new coronavirus cases also were reported Monday in Lynn, Lynnfield, Marblehead and Revere.
Numbers remained the same or were not updated in several other North Shore communities.
With the additional fatality, Peabody’s death toll now stands at 183. The city also reported eight new cases to bring its caseload to 1,273, but 987 people have recovered, according to the health department.
Four new cases were reported in Lynn to bring the city’s caseload to 4,861. Of that total, 602 cases are active, 117 people have died and 4,142 have recovered from the virus, according to city data.
Lynnfield also reported four new cases. The town now has 135 cases, 11 deaths and 97 people have recovered, according to the town website.
In Marblehead, two new cases were reported to bring the town’s caseload to 268. Thirty residents have died.
Six new cases were reported in Revere to bring the city’s total number of cases to 2,638. One hundred people have died and the city is averaging 11.9 new cases per day over the past seven days, according to the city website.
Numbers remained the same in Nahant (52 cases, six deaths) and were not updated in Saugus or Swampscott on Friday.
As of last Thursday, Saugus had 698 cases and 41 deaths and Swampscott had 165 cases and 11 deaths.
