A caller reported she was driving down Green Street when a man tried to “flag her down” at 8:36 p.m. Sunday. She said she did not feel comfortable stopping for the man, who appeared to be in his 30s and was wearing a backwards black baseball cap, black shirt and black pants. She was unsure if the man needed assistance. A third caller reported she was out for a walk when she saw a man crying in the middle of the road. He was reportedly waving his arms and yelling that he needed a ride. Salvatore Anthony Guarino, 27, was arrested (see arrests).

A report of threats at 7:27 p.m. Friday at 7 Jennifer Drive. A caller, who identified himself as a news reporter, said he had received a threat via email that said he was spreading lies and it wasn’t going to end well for him.
A report of a neighborhood dispute at 2:25 p.m. Saturday at 4 Indian Rock Drive. A caller reported an ongoing issue that involved neighbors throwing objects, including dog feces, into her backyard. Police reported the neighbors would work it out on their own.
A report of suspicious activity at 6:24 a.m. Sunday at Wood Spring Suites Signature at 832 Broadway. A caller reported hearing a woman screaming for more than an hour. Police reported the woman had just lost a family member and was having a bad day.
A report of gunshots at 10:47 p.m. Sunday at 72 Essex St. A caller reported hearing gunshots near the curve in the street, which appeared to come from a vehicle. Other residents only heard one bang, which reportedly came from a vehicle.
