LYNN — Two Lynn men were arrested on fentanyl trafficking charges Friday morning following a month-long joint investigation between the Lynn Police Drug Task Force and Massachusetts State Police.
Marielys Mingo, 21, was charged with three counts of trafficking more than 10 grams of fentanyl and Class A drug distribution.
Javier Pimentel, 22, was charged with four counts of trafficking more than 10 grams of fentanyl and Class A drug distribution.
The two men were arrested as a result of a search warrant that was executed at 47 Park St. around 6 a.m. Friday, Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said.
Over the course of the investigation, 73 grams of fentanyl had been seized from Pimentel and Mingo. On Friday morning, police seized another 80 grams of suspected fentanyl from the Park Street residence, Kmiec said.
The 153 grams of fentanyl has an approximate street value of $15,300.
