Carrie Guthro, of 23 Beach Road, was arrested on warrant charges of two counts of trespassing, two counts of larceny under $1,200, daytime breaking and entering for a felony, malicious destruction of property, and Class B drug possession subsequent offense at 11:43 a.m. Thursday.
Tahmeika Johnson, 26, of 100 Willow St., was arrested and charged with assault and battery on person 60-plus/disabled at 6:39 p.m. Wednesday.
Jose Lopez Chilel, 19, of 119 Timson St., was arrested and charged with OUI liquor, alcohol from an open container in a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of personal injury, leaving the scene of property damage, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 3:13 a.m. Thursday.
Tom Tamba, of 363 Essex St., was arrested on warrant charges of two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, attempt to commit a crime, marked lanes violation, and operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license at 11:28 a.m. Thursday.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 2:03 p.m. Wednesday at Spring and Elm streets. A caller reported his son had been hit by an unknown vehicle while riding his bike on Spring Street.
Complaints
A caller reported a man was digging under the play structure at 8:09 a.m. Wednesday on Wyman Road.
A caller reported two teenage girls had taken a sign off of a lawn at 6:35 p.m. Wednesday at Ocean and Harbor avenues. The caller thought it was a Trump/Pence sign. The girls had reportedly been headed toward the beach. Police were unable to locate anyone matching the girls’ description.
A caller reported she found her car door open. The center console had been “jostled,” but nothing was taken at 7:11 a.m. Thursday on Overlook Road.
SAUGUS
Complaints
Police received a call at 5:12 a.m. Thursday from a party who reported a female employee at Speedway was involved in a verbal altercation with a male party who the caller believed was the employee’s boyfriend. Dispatched officers spoke with the employee. No issues reported.
A man walked into the station at 7:17 p.m. Wednesday to report that he was driving in the area of Walmart on Broadway at approximately 6 a.m. when a glass bottle hit his vehicle. He was unsure if the bottle was in the roadway or if it was thrown from another vehicle. No visible signs of damage were reported but the man wanted the incident documented for insurance purposes.
Police received a 911 call from a patient at Chestnut Woods Rehabilitation Center who reported he had not seen staff in hours. Attempts to contact Chestnut Woods for 15 minutes were unsuccessful. An officer was dispatched to speak with the staff and check on the calling party. Peace was restored.
A man came into the station at 5:31 p.m. Wednesday to report he was visiting from Guatemala and lost his wallet, which contains his I.D. and bank cards, in the area of 45 Serino Way. He was advised to contact the bank and was told he would be notified if the wallet was returned.
Police received multiple calls around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday about a raccoon that appeared to be stumbling and shaking in the area of Springdale Ave. Animal Control was notified.
Thefts
Loss prevention at Walmart on Broadway called 911 at 9:55 p.m. Wednesday to report a male party smashed the camera case and put over $2,000 in merchandise in his backpack. The party left prior to officer arrival. A report was taken.
Well-being Check
A 911 caller reported a man asleep behind the wheel near Lowe’s on Broadway at 9:33 p.m. Wednesday. Dispatched officers determined the man was asleep and homeless.
