New coronavirus cases, but no additional deaths were reported in Lynn, Lynnfield, Marblehead and Revere on Tuesday.
Lynn finally got a reprieve from its weeks-long virus surge, with just one new case reported on Tuesday.
The city now has 4,649 cases. Of that total, 572 cases are active, 117 people have died and 3,960 have recovered from the virus, according to city data.
Nine new cases have been reported in Lynnfield since last Friday to bring the town’s caseload to 126. Eleven people have died.
Revere reported four new cases to bring the city’s new totals to 1,245 cases and 98 deaths.
And an additional case has been reported in Marblehead since last Monday, Aug. 31. The town now has 264 cases and 30 people have died.
Numbers remained the same in Nahant (52 cases, six deaths) and were not updated in Peabody, Saugus or Swampscott.
As of last Friday, Peabody had 1,245 cases and 180 deaths and Swampscott had 160 cases and 11 deaths. Saugus (659 cases, 40 deaths) has not released updated numbers since last Wednesday.
