Gudiel Nolasco Mendez, 26, of 79 Haverhill St., Lawrence, was arrested and charged with alcohol from an open container in a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of property damage, speeding, failure to stop/yield, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle at 12:46 a.m. Thursday.

SAUGUS
Arrest
Kevin Murphy, 55, of Saugus, was arrested Wednesday on charges of operating under the influence of liquor.
Accidents
Police received a 911 call at 7:02 a.m. Thursday from a party who reported a three-car accident in the area of 41 Walnut St. Unknown injuries. Officers were dispatched for more information.
A 911 caller reported a vehicle had hit a house on Hammersmith Drive at 6:13 p.m. Wednesday and was on its side. Dispatched officers reported property damage only.
Complaints
Police received a call at 12:01 a.m. Thursday about an unwanted female party refusing to leave an apartment on Broadway. Officers were dispatched and requested an ambulance for evaluation. One party was transported to Melrose Wakefield Hospital.
Property Damage
A caller at 7:19 a.m. Thursday reported a motor vehicle accident had occurred overnight and there was some damage to the landscaping at the CVS pharmacy on Broadway. A notification was made to Swampscott Police.
