A caller reported her neighbor was putting an outside shower right under her kitchen window at 12:03 p.m. Sunday on Auburndale Road. She thought it was sneaky to install the shower during the weekend while she was away. Police said an officer could respond to observe the work, but since it was not a crime, the caller should contact the building department.
A report of a doorbell ringing at 12:38 a.m. Monday on Driftwood Road. A caller reported multiple doorbell rings. She told police she was too scared to respond. Police reported the doorbell was ringing because of a faulty bell system, which was disassembled.
Theft
A report of a larceny/forgery/fraud at 12:48 p.m. Sunday on Londonderry Road. A caller reported her late husband’s accounts had been compromised. He had died recently.

Jose Junior Cruz, 25, of 34 Wadsworth St., Rochester, NY, was arrested and charged with OUI liquor second offense, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and negligent operation of a motor vehicle at 10:37 p.m. Friday.
Adinilson Magno Santos, 40, 58R Pulaski St., Apt. 1, was arrested and charged with improper storage of a firearm, possession of ammunition without a firearm identification card, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, assault with a dangerous weapon, and on warrants at 2:19 p.m. Sunday.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 8:01 a.m. Saturday at 2 Margin St. Police reported a vehicle hit a pole and a parked car. National Grid was notified for the pole.
A motor vehicle crash was reported at 12:23 p.m. Saturday at Long’s Jewelers at 35 Cross St. A vehicle reportedly struck a pole in the parking lot. There were no injuries.

Assaults
A report of an assault with a dangerous weapon at 2:19 p.m. Sunday at 58R Pulaski St. AAA called to report a truck driver had been threatened with a handgun. The driver had told the tow company that an unknown person told him to leave. At that point, the driver could hear the man pulling back the slide of the gun. The driver fled the area. Police identified and arrested the suspect, Adinilson Magno Santos, 40, on firearm and assault charges (see arrests).
A report of an assault and battery at 12:41 a.m. Monday on Foster Street. A caller reported a male was assaulting a female. Police reported they were gone upon arrival.

A report of operating under the influence of liquor at 10:37 p.m. Friday on Hotel Road. A caller reported someone was driving a motor vehicle backwards on the wrong side of the road. Jose Junior Cruz, 25, of Rochester, NY, was arrested (see arrests).
A report of a disturbance at 4:38 p.m. Saturday at St. Ann’s Church at 140 Lynn St. A caller requested a police response for a male yelling inside the church. An officer reported there was an autistic child who was out of control. A 14-year-old juvenile arrested for two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, two counts of assault and battery on a public employee, assault and battery on a family/household member, and disturbing a religious service.
A report of a disturbance at 7:09 p.m. Saturday at 14 Foster St. A caller reported an intoxicated neighbor was yelling in the hallways and slapping people. Police reported the incident was related to an ongoing neighbor dispute.

A report of suspicious activity at 7:19 p.m. Friday at Bristow Park at 23 Bristow St. Police received a report of a basketball game at Bristow Park, which was closed. A lock was cut. Police reported about five teenagers were playing basketball and that a chain was cut. The DPW emergency contact was notified to respond to the area.
A caller reported hearing gunshots or fireworks at 7:56 p.m. Sunday on Collins Avenue. Police reported there was nothing showing after an area check.
