Fire
A report of an outside fire at 8:31 p.m. Friday on Elm Street. A caller reported there was a large fire in the yard near a structure. He said his neighbor’s entire yard was on fire. Police reported the bushes caught fire, which resulted from there being too much fuel on the fire pit. The fire was knocked down by the fire department. The caller later reported that his neighbor started the fire pit again after police and firefighters left.
A report of a car fire at 12:56 a.m. Saturday on Elm Street. A caller reported a vehicle was on fire, but did not think anyone was inside. Police reported there was a smouldering fire in the back seat of the car, which was near a house. The fire was extinguished. An Evans Road resident reported he had heard a lot of fireworks earlier that night.
