A report of suspicious activity at 9:25 p.m. Wednesday on Brookhouse Drive. A caller reported eight high school-aged kids were having an underage drinking party. Police reported the owner’s grandson was there with his friends. There was no underage drinking.
Suspicious activity was reported at 7:14 p.m. Wednesday at Chipotle Mexican Grill at 210C Andover St. Two females flagged down an officer to report a man had been taking pictures of them. The man was driving a grey sedan. The officer could not find the vehicle and reported the call appeared to be unfounded.
A report of a disturbance at 10:32 p.m. Wednesday on Hardy Street. A caller was upset with kids playing basketball nearby. Police reported the kids went inside.
Overdose
A report of an opioid overdose at 5:27 p.m. Wednesday on Countryside Lane. A 26-year-old man was taken to Beverly Hospital.
Vandalism
A report of graffiti at 12:16 p.m. Wednesday on Village Street. A caller reported she saw some disturbing graffiti on the bridge while she was walking the trail.

Arrest
Eric Lyons, 37, of Malden, was arrested Thursday on charges of a default warrant.
Animal Complaint
Police received multiple calls at 1:36 p.m. Wednesday for a deceased dog on Broadway. Animal Control was notified.
Complaints
A caller at 12:36 a.m. Thursday reported loud music on Clifton Ave. A dispatched officer reported all appeared quiet.
Police received a call at 9:09 p.m. Wednesday from a woman who reported multiple cars were blocking Upland Rd. and making the street impassable. A dispatched officer reported the street was passable by the time of arrival. The officer spoke with the caller and a resident who agreed to keep vehicles off the roadway and parked on private property.
Police received a call at 8:05 p.m. Wednesday from a resident on Castle St. who reported he received a text from a neighbor who stated kids were swimming in the caller’s pool. Dispatched officers reported no kids swimming at that time.
A 911 caller at 7:13 p.m. Wednesday reported her husband was intoxicated and causing a problem in their home on Hamilton St. She stated he was not aggressive. Dispatched officers reported requesting an ambulance for evaluation. One party was transported to Melrose/Wakefield Hospital. The calling party was advised on how to get a section 35.
A 911 caller at 10:28 a.m. Wednesday reported a 5’6 white male with gray hair and a red tank top who may have been taking pictures of her and her daughter. Officers were dispatched to Target on the Lynn Fells Parkway to investigate.
Motor Vehicle Incidents
Police received a call at 5:09 p.m. Wednesday about a disabled motor vehicle in a bad location on Broadway and Essex St. The vehicle was moved from the roadway.
Police received a report at 1:41 p.m. Wednesday of a car that had run out of gas on Main St. and Broadway. It was determined a family member was en route with gasoline.
Thefts
Walmart Loss Prevention on Broadway reported at 2:17 p.m. Wednesday that a 6’4 white male in a blue shirt attempted to steal a $1,500 phone. The caller stated that when they tried to apprehend the suspect, he pushed a manager and fled on foot towards the Wood Spring Suites. An officer was dispatched for more information.
Well-being Check
A 911 caller at 2:30 a.m. Thursday reported yelling, possibly coming from a female, in the area of LA Fitness on Broadway. Dispatched officers determined it was a verbal argument between a brother and a sister.
