MARBLEHEAD
Complaints
A report of a child on a raft floating away at 2:52 p.m. Tuesday on Atlantic Avenue. Multiple callers reported a young girl floating away in an orange raft. The Swampscott and Marblehead harbormasters responded. Police reported the girl was about 300 to 600 yards out. The Swampscott harbormaster picked up the girl and Marblehead’s harbormaster picked up the father. Both were taken to the Swampscott Fish House pier.
A caller reported a group of people were jumping off of the rocks at 5:47 p.m. Tuesday on Chestnut Street. The caller was concerned for their safety. Police reported there was no group in the area upon their arrival.
A report of a disturbance at 7:41 a.m. Wednesday on Broughton Road. A caller reported an unwanted person was destroying things in the house.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism to a sign at 6:23 a.m. Wednesday on Ocean Avenue. A caller reported at programmable sign at Devereux Beach has been broken and now reads “God is gay.” The highway department was notified and the sign was switched back to its original message.
NAHANT
Animal Control
A third party reported a loose doberman on the Long Beach accessway at 3:20 p.m. Sunday. A responding officer reported the dog was leashed and was a service dog.
Complaints
A caller at 4:53 p.m. Sunday reported observing a vehicle driving erratically on Castle Way. An officer was dispatched for more information.
An officer reported being waved down by a group of females at 3:20 p.m. Sunday who stated a Black male, wearing all black with a black hat, appeared to be taking pictures of females at the beach. The women did not want to point out the individual.
Downed Wires
Nahant Police received multiple calls for downed wires at 5:04 p.m. Sunday on Highland Rd., at 5:07 p.m. on Willow Rd., at 5:09 p.m. on Gardner Rd., at 5:11 p.m. on Sherman Ave., at 5:16 p.m. on Pearl Rd., at 5:31 p.m. on Wilson Rd., and 5:42 p.m. on Bass Point Rd.
Water Incident
A caller at 4:57 p.m. Sunday reported a white sailboat and another boat possibly in distress in the water near Lafayette Ter. A dispatched officer reported the boats appeared to be anchored.

Arrest
Stacey Rodriguez, 36, of 116 Foster St., Apt. 2, was arrested on two counts of assault and battery at 7:35 p.m. Tuesday.

Breaking and Entering
A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 2:25 a.m. Wednesday at 12 Northend St. A caller reported six juveniles were walking down the street and trying to open car doors. Three juveniles, 14, 15, and 17, were summoned for the same charges: larceny under $1,200, nighttime motor vehicle breaking and entering for a felony, disorderly conduct, and disturbing the peace.
A motor vehicle breaking and entering was reported at 10:03 a.m. Wednesday at Peabody House at 18 Walnut St. Nothing was taken, but someone had gone through the inside of the car. Police obtained video footage from management.
Complaints
A report of suspicious activity at 11:34 a.m. Tuesday at Auto Factory at 156 Newbury St. An officer reported a man was sitting on the jersey barrier. The officer later reported the person was trying to retrieve something he had dropped on the highway, before making his way back across the highway. The man was sent on his way.
Suspicious activity was reported at 6:08 p.m. Tuesday at 10 Crowninshield St. A caller reported a person was trespassing and sitting on a bench at the front of the building. The person was described as a female in her late teens or early 20s. An officer reported there were no humans on site.
SAUGUS
Breaking and Entering
Police received a call from someone on Intervale Ave. at 11:22 a.m. Tuesday who reported a package was stolen from her property and her car was broken into.
Police received a call at 10:57 a.m. Tuesday from a resident who reported a motor vehicle break-in on Intervale Ave.
Complaints
A caller at 1:48 a.m. Wednesday reported an unknown male acting suspicious and running through the caller’s yard on Lothrop St. and checking the door around 10:30 p.m. Dispatched officers reported all appeared quiet.
A resident called at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday to report a bunch of flashlights behind his residence on Pamela Rd. An area check turned up nothing.
Police received a call at 8:06 p.m. Tuesday from a resident who reported a motor vehicle near where she lived on Talbot Ave. was pulling a person in an office chair. Officers were dispatched for more information.
A man walked into the station at 4:23 p.m. Tuesday to report that an unknown man had been banging on the door to his apartment on Newhall Ave. at 10 a.m. Monday. The caller was given a number for his records and told to contact the station with any further information.
Police received a call at 4:09 p.m. Tuesday from a woman who reported she came home at Heritage Housing from the hospital earlier today and noticed her jewelry was missing from her residence. Dispatched officers reported no signs of a break or forced entry. Officers spoke to staff and informed them of the allegations.
A 911 caller from Springdale Ave. reported a neighbor on Springdale Ave. threw some items into his deceased mother’s yard on purpose. A dispatched officer reported the neighbors will work out the dispute.
A caller reported at 2:58 p.m. Tuesday that he’d been receiving threatening calls on his cell phone from an unknown male. Officers state the matter is under investigation.
Property Damage
Police received a call at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday from a man who reported a possible past break-in at his residence on Park Ave. An officer was dispatched for more information.
