New coronavirus cases were reported in Lynn, Peabody and Revere on Friday, but numbers remained unchanged in other North Shore communities.
The coronavirus surge continued in Lynn and Revere, with both cities reporting 20 new cases on Friday.
Lynn now has 4,296 cases, 634 of which are active. A total of 111 people have died and 3,551 have recovered from the virus, according to city data.
In Revere, a total of 2,188 people have been infected, but 1,978 have recovered. The city’s death toll remained the same at 94, according to the city website.
Four new cases have been reported in Peabody since Wednesday to bring the city’s caseload to 1,189. A total of 174 people have died and 891 have recovered, according to the health department.
Numbers remained the same in Lynnfield (111 cases, 11 deaths) and Nahant (50 cases, six deaths) and were not updated in Marblehead, Saugus or Swampscott.
As of Thursday, Saugus had 616 cases and 39 deaths. Marblehead (255 cases, 30 deaths) and Swampscott (146 cases, 10 deaths) have not released updated numbers since Wednesday.
