Complaints
A report of an intoxicated person at 6:42 p.m. Wednesday at 21 County St. a caller reported an intoxicated man jumped over the fence and was leaning over his vehicle. The man, Melvin Julio Pascual, was identified as the man who was involved in an earlier hit and run crash on Oak Street. He was arrested. After Pascual, 22, left the scene of the crash, police found a young child abandoned in the car, who was taken to Northshore Children’s Hospital in Salem.
A report of an intoxicated person at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday at Land and Sea at 67 Lynnfield St. A caller reported an intoxicated man got out of his car and entered the establishment while acting belligerent. An officer spoke with the man, who had exchanged words with the caller over a parking spot. Everything checked out.
A report of a disturbance at 5:57 a.m. Thursday at Bavaro Liquors at 12 Foster St. A caller reported a man was threatened and that a gun was involved. One person was taken to Salem Hospital.
SAUGUS
Citizens Assist
A caller at 6:36 a.m. Thursday reported a patient at North Suburban Dialysis was stuck on a bus in a wheelchair because the bus ramp broke. An officer was dispatched to assist.
Complaints
Police received a noise complaint for the apartments on Lincoln Ave. at 1:07 a.m. Thursday. Dispatched officers reported speaking with a resident, who agreed to turn the music off for the night.
A 911 caller reported a disturbance between him and his neighbor on Summit Rd. at 11:50 p.m. Wednesday. The caller admitted to punching his neighbor in the face for urinating on his driveway. Dispatched officers reported requesting an ambulance for evaluation. One party was reportedly taken into protective custody.
Police received a report at 9:56 p.m. Wednesday from a party who reported a large gathering of youths drag racing motorcycles and cars in the parking lot of Stop & Shop on Main St. The gathering was reportedly dispersed.
A caller at 12:19 a.m. Wednesday reported his upstairs neighbor was involved in a verbal argument with an unknown suspect who shot her windows out with a bb or pellet gun while fleeing the residence on Essex Street. Dispatched officers spoke to all parties involved. Parties were unwilling to provide any information on the suspect and the landlord was advised to call if there were any further issues.
Well Being Check
Police received a call at 5:17 p.m. Wednesday about a man in a motor vehicle who appeared to be “tweaking.” Officers were dispatched to Ballard Street and reported the party checked out and was sent on his way.

A report of a hazardous condition at 7:27 a.m. Wednesday at Aggregate Industries at 30 Danvers Road. A caller reported a man was walking in the roadway and trying to strike cars he passed.
A report of suspicious activity at 12:58 p.m. Wednesday at 383 Paradise Road.
Suspicious activity was reported at 10:18 p.m. Wednesday at 293 Humphrey St. A caller reported kids with flashlights were crawling around on a beached sailboat. Police told them to leave the beach.
Theft
A report of a larceny at 4:10 p.m. Wednesday at Fisherman’s Beach.
