The Merry Mixers annual Summer Gala, which raises money for programs at North Shore Medical Center, will not take place this year. Instead, the organization will hold a summer 50/50 raffle as its major fundraiser.
Tickets are $100 and there is a chance to win at least $10,000. The more tickets sold, the larger the winnings. The winner will be announced on Aug. 28 at a time to be announced via live feed on the Merry Mixers Facebook page.
Money raised will be donated to the Behavioral Health Family Resource Center at North Shore Medical Center to support the emotional well-being of our youth during this unprecedented time.
The annual Gala would have been held July 25 and would have been full of dancing, laughing and merriment. Merry Mixers is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year.
Merry Mixers was founded in 1950 by a group of Marblehead women dedicated to supporting and enhancing the level of care for children in the community and across the North Shore.
