Lynn reported an additional death on Friday and new coronavirus cases were reported in several other North Shore communities.
The death toll in Lynn now stands at 108.
The city also reported two new cases to bring its total number of cases to 3,834. Of that total, 428 are active, as 3,298 have recovered from the virus, according to city data.
Peabody reported two new cases, but no additional deaths on Friday. The city now has 1,107 cases, 171 deaths and 856 have recovered, according to Health Director Sharon Cameron.
In Revere, eight new cases were reported to bring the city’s caseload to 1,937. Ninety-one residents have died and 1,649 have recovered, according to city data.
Five new cases have been reported in Saugus since Wednesday. The town has now reported 571 cases and 38 deaths.
Numbers remained the same in Lynnfield (104 cases, 11 deaths) and Nahant (46 cases, six deaths) and were not updated in Marblehead or Swampscott.
As of Wednesday, Marblehead reported 243 cases and 30 deaths and Swampscott had 138 cases and nine deaths.
