A report of suspicious activity at 6:13 p.m. Wednesday on Smith Street. A caller reported an unknown woman had been following him around. He said she had been pulling her top down and attempting to expose herself to him. She has reportedly also followed him onto the train. Police reported the incident was a date that had gone south and both people were sent off in different directions.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 12:59 a.m. Thursday at 73 Tremont St. and 36 Union St. A caller reported a vehicle struck a police and fled the scene. An officer reported the driver did not leave the scene and declined medical attention.

SAUGUS
Arrest
Jairon Mendez, 26, of Lynn, was arrested Wednesday on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Complaints
At 3:59 a.m. Thursday, a 911 caller reported loud banging from the apartment above the caller at Newhall Ave. The dispatched officer reported all was quiet on arrival.
A woman came into the station at 7:20 p.m. Wednesday to report she had fallen victim to an internet-based fraud. A report was taken.
Police received a call at 6:36 p.m. Wednesday from someone at Benzine L.L.C. who reported a male and female with a New York license plate left without paying for gas. Officers were dispatched for more information.
Police received a call at 5:58 p.m. Wednesday about a group of teenagers swimming in the reservoir at Walnut St. Officers were dispatched and reported no swimmers were found.
A 911 caller at 4:25 p.m. Wednesday reported three to four kids on bikes traveling northbound in the southbound side of the fast lane. Dispatched officers reported they were unable to locate the kids.
Police received a call about a group of eight to 10 kids throwing objects against a wall and ripping down gutters at Veterans Memorial Elementary School. Dispatched officers reported there was no damage and that they moved the group along.
Thefts
A woman came into the station at 4:19 p.m. Wednesday to report her RV was broken into in her driveway at some point the previous night. A report was taken.
