Gary Leavitt and Friends on WMEX

Peabody's Gary Leavitt has returned to radio with Gary Leavitt and Friends on 1510 WMEX Sunday Mornings from 6-9 a.m., beginning July 26.

Leavitt  has been in the entertainment business since 1985. He started as a Bruce Springsteen look-a-like for a Boston-based company and has worn many an outfit and hat playing the part of Bozo The Clown for Fox in Providence, celebrity impersonator/comedian for several radio stations in New England and more recently writing an anti-bullying children's book titled "Charlie Horse."

"We try to establish something that isn't really done in radio, a variety show," said Leavitt. It has everything as is evident with the list of guests for this week's show."
