Complaints
A Turner Road resident walked into the police station at 3:45 p.m. Friday to report he had been approached by a man who claimed to be a “town ranger” a week earlier. He said the man took his tools from him and told him to come to the police station to get them back. Police said they have no record of a “town ranger.” The reporting party said the man took his tools because they were “destroying the forest.” Police spoke with the group of kids who made the accusation — they admitted to leaving the tools in the area.
A report of suspicious activity at 6:44 p.m. Friday on Maple Street. A caller reported she saw a strange person talking or singing to him- or herself as they were crossing the street. She described the person as someone who had white hair and was wearing headphones. She said she was afraid the person was not paying attention while crossing the street.
A caller reported cars were jumping the hill on Peach Highlands at 8:19 p.m. Friday.
A caller reported a car was smeared with dog poop on Atlantic Avenue at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
A caller reported there was a huge birthday party where no one was social distancing or wearing masks at 11:53 a.m. Sunday on Stramski Way. Police reported the birthday party was wrapping up and the fire lane violations were being resolved.
A report of suspicious activity at 8:26 p.m. Sunday on Orchard Circle. A caller reported there appeared to be two people trying to get into a neighbor’s house. Police reported the homeowner was selling the house and the people were potential buyers.

A caller reported people have been dumping trash behind the building and that had footage of the incidents. Police reported there were three separate incidents of dumping involving two men in a grey Mitsubishi Lancer.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 8:45 a.m. Friday at Otte & Dwyer at 59 Appleton St. A caller reported his vehicles were damaged on July 8 after someone threw fireworks underneath the vehicle. Police reported there was no damage, but the caller wanted the incident documented.
