Peabody reported new coronavirus cases and an additional death on Wednesday.
Lynn also reported an additional case, but numbers remained the same in several other North Shore communities.
With the additional fatality, Peabody’s death toll is now 165.
Peabody reported three cases to bring its caseload to 1,076 — 840 people have recovered from the virus, according to Health Director Sharon Cameron.
Although Lynn reported just a single new case on Wednesday, the city has the fourth highest number of cases in the state, according to the state Department of Public Health.
Lynn now has 3,709 cases. Of that total, 591 are active and 3,014 residents have recovered. The city’s death toll remained the same at 104, according to city data.
Numbers remained the same in Lynnfield (101 cases, 11 deaths), Marblehead (237 cases, 30 deaths), Nahant (42 cases, six deaths), Saugus (557 cases, 36 deaths) and Swampscott (133 cases, eight deaths).
At press time, Revere had not released updated numbers. As of Tuesday, the city has 1,850 cases and 87 deaths.
