A report of a motor vehicle crash at 11:14 a.m. Monday at West Shore Drive and Village Street.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 8:56 p.m. Monday on Lighthouse Lane. A person walked into the police station to report that an unknown woman approached their car while it was parked and started punching the air and yelling “which one of you is my cousin?” The suspects, she was with a man, also started throwing rocks at the car. The victim and her friends said they didn’t know either of them.
NAHANT
Complaints
Police received multiple calls around 12:20 p.m. Sunday about a party on a jet ski traveling at a high rate of speed through a no-wake zone. The harbormaster was contacted.
A caller at 10:37 a.m. Sunday reported there was a Craigslist scam that had her address as having rooms for rent. The party reported people came by to look at the home and wire money to an unknown man. The caller was informed officers would keep an eye on the property in their patrols and speak to anyone seen walking on the property.

DPW received multiple calls Sunday about flooding on Nahant Rd. and Willow Rd.
PEABODY
Arrest
John Peckham, 33, of 6 Fairview Road, Apt. 2, was arrested and charged with strangulation or suffocation with serious bodily harm, assault and battery, attempted murder and intimidation of a witness/juror/police/court official at 8:33 p.m. Monday.
Accidents
A report of a motor vehicle crash at 11:19 p.m. Monday at 8 Summit St. A car into a pole was reported.
A motor vehicle crash was reported at 11:53 a.m. Tuesday at 6 Foster St.
Breaking and Entering
A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 12:18 a.m. Tuesday at 23 Catherine Drive. No items were taken from the vehicle and the suspect fled in a silver Mitsubishi.
Complaints
A report of suspicious activity at 6:45 p.m. Monday on Jacobs Street. A caller reported a person was ringing doorbells up and down the street.
Theft
A report of a stolen motor vehicle at 8:14 p.m. Monday at Mac’s Trailer Park at 176 Newbury St. A caller reported her rental car was gone. The vehicle was located by Everett Police.
SAUGUS
Accidents
An officer reported a motor vehicle accident under the Walnut St. overpass at 6:06 p.m. Monday. Minor damage to both vehicles was reported.
A man walked into the station at 12:09 p.m. Monday to report his car had been struck by a vehicle on Essex St. and the other vehicle did not stop. An officer contacted the other vehicle owner who said he was driving the car. Both parties were advised to contact their insurance.
Police received a call at 10:07 a.m. Monday about a 2-car accident on Essex St. An officer was dispatched to assist with paperwork.
Complaints
The manager of Angela’s on Broadway reported a male walking in front of the restaurant who appeared incoherent at 6:26 p.m. Monday. He was described as wearing a black hat, red shirt, and red shorts. Dispatched officers spoke with the party and determined nothing seemed out of the ordinary.
An officer on detail reported a rock was kicked up from a landscaper and hit a passing vehicle’s passenger window at 10:50 a.m. Monday. Minor damage was reported.
Police received a 911 call at 10:28 a.m. Monday from a party reporting an erratic operator driving a white U-Haul truck with out of state plates. A BOLO was put out to other units.
Thefts
A woman walked into the station at 10:21 a.m. Monday to report her vehicle was broken into on June 24, and her laptop, airpods, and two pairs of sunglasses were taken.
Police received a call at 10:07 a.m. Monday about a 2-car accident on Essex St. An officer was dispatched to assist with paperwork.

A report of suspicious activity at 8:43 a.m. Monday at Swampscott High School at 200 Essex St. A teacher at the school wanted to talk to an officer about an ongoing issue.
