A report of a motor vehicle crash with injuries at 10:07 a.m. Tuesday at Starbucks at 240 Andover St. One person was taken to Salem Hospital. Another person was taken to Beverly Hospital.
Complaints
A report of a traffic hazard at 6:58 p.m. Monday on Railroad Avenue. A caller reported about a dozen juveniles were operating their bicycles recklessly and playing “chicken” with vehicles. An officer reminded the people of bicycle safety rules and sent them on their way.
A report of a disturbance at 7:32 p.m. Monday at Holiday Inn at 1 Newbury St. A caller reported she witnessed a man physically assault a woman in the front parking lot by a black Chevy truck. An officer spoke with two women on the scene, who said it was a verbal argument only.
Overdose
A report of an overdose at 9:32 p.m. Monday at Bank of America at 150 Main St. A man was taken to Salem Hospital. Dylan DB Silva, 21, of 25 Driscoll St., was summoned for OUI drugs, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and Class A drug possession.
Theft
A report of a larceny at 12:53 p.m. Tuesday at 49 Garden Road. A caller reported a stolen phone.
A larceny was reported at 1:54 p.m. Tuesday at Stop & Shop at 19 Howley St. A wallet, which contained $300, was reported stolen.
SAUGUS
Assaults
A caller reported at 2:23 a.m. Tuesday that he was jumped and tased by another party. Officers were dispatched to Chisholm Motel on Broadway for more information.
Complaints
Police received a complaint at 11:43 p.m. Monday from a caller who reported a large group of kids going into the woods with backpacks who appeared to be partying. Dispatched officers reported the kids were transiting through Saugus Woods to get to Melrose.
A caller reported a group of kids partying in the back of the Savers parking lot at 11:16 p.m. Monday. Units were dispatched to disperse the group.
Police received a call about a large group of kids partying in the woods at the end of Cheever Avenue at 9:57 p.m. Monday. Officers searched the area and reported all seemed clear.
